It's a winner! The Brashear baseball team hosted Green City Thursday night on our new field. Things did not start well for Brashear as Green City scored 5 runs in the top of the 1st. Brashear got 3 of those back in the bottom of the 1st, but Brashear could never close the gap as the game went on. Heading into the bottom of the 7th, Brashear trailed 15-7, but managed a 9-run rally to get their first win on the new field by a score of 16-15. Jack Reeves and Cole Erwin both had 3 hits, John Higgins, Clancy Noe, Carson Erwin, and Rhett Whitlow each had 2 hits, and Drew Magruder also had a hit. Rhett Whitlow got the start with John Higgins, Jack Reeves, and Carson Erwin pitching in relief.
